⚖️ Stance Dynamics: The Geometry of Fighting

Every match is a puzzle of positioning. The relationship between your lead foot and your opponent's determines which weapons are active and which are offline.

Closed Stance (Opposing Leads)

The "mirror" configuration. This is the realm of the back-kick counter and the direct cut. It favors reactive fighters who can bait the roundhouse and rotate into the "blind side" of the opponent.

Open Stance (Same-Side Leads)

Pure aggression. The centerline is wide open. This favors high-impact exchanges, front-leg "monkey" kicks, and clinch transitions. If you have the reach advantage, staying in Open Stance allows you to jam their power side effectively.
